Restoration and Research
Our mission is to preserve, protect, and enhance Durney Key, a vital spoil island created from the Cotee River dredge material. Through a dedicated five-year initiative, we aim to prevent further erosion, increase ecological biodiversity by establishing an oyster reef barrier, removing invasive species, and replanting native vegetation, ultimately expanding the key's recreational and ecological value for the community.
